- Team Up to Clean Up -

Bonaire’s ocean, reefs, beaches, and coastline are loved by all who visit, and all who call the island home. A variety of groups participate in initiatives to clean up Bonaire and remove the plastic debris from our beaches and reefs.

Debris Free Bonaire focuses efforts toward underwater clean ups, working with divers to protect the reefs from debris. We work with Dive Friends Bonaire to organise collective clean up events - picking up debris together is actually fun and it increases awareness! We also provide tools and materials such as mesh bags, and invite both residents and visitors to join our initiatives.

We do what we can to get everyone on board! Check out the upcoming events below!
